Mesh-Plate Tunnel Oven Dingfeng Automation – 4-Lane Conveyor Drying

One conveyor. One lane. Products line up and wait their turn. That's how most tunnel ovens work – and that's exactly where the bottleneck sits. The oven keeps running, but throughput hits a ceiling.

Dingfeng Automation's new DF-HK330-5M mesh-plate tunnel oven offers a straightforward fix: four lanes. Simultaneously.

Four Lanes, Four Times the Output – On the Same Footprint

The oven uses a stainless steel mesh-plate conveyor split into four independent lanes, each 66mm wide – sized for 64mm standard fixtures. All four lanes run side by side, loading and unloading independently.

- Total effective width: 330mm (4 lanes × 66mm)

- Speed range: 1–5 mm/s, VFD adjustable

- Conveyor height: 1035±30mm – easy to match existing line heights

Each mesh plate comes with integrated locating pins – place the fixture on the plate, the pins lock it in position. No drifting. No collisions. For precision baking where consistent spacing matters, this is as critical as the extra lanes themselves.

Heat Fast, Heat Even

Heating section: 4 meters total (2 zones × 2 meters). The system combines top-down forced hot air as the primary source with IR lamps for auxiliary boost.

- hot-air system: Hot air flows downward, spread evenly across all four lanes

- IR medium: wave lamps add rapid infrared heat

- Operating temperature: 150°C typical, up to 200°C max

- Cycle time: ≈25 minutes per batch (8 min ramp + 15 min hold)

- Temperature uniformity: ≤ ±5°C at steady state

Each zone has 3 external temperature probes, positioned 20–30mm above the product surface. Probe terminals are grouped on the operation panel – operators can spot-check without opening doors or stopping the line.

Two natural exhaust ports on top, plus one forced exhaust fan (90W) at the exit – fumes out, fresh air in.

Set Parameters on a Touchscreen. Connect via EtherCat.

The control package keeps it practical: Inovance PLC + Weinview HMI + Taisong temperature modules.

- Speed, temperature, timing – all set on the touchscreen. No code. No manual digging.

- SCR output holds temperature accuracy at ±0.5°C – stable once set, no overshoot drifting.

- EtherCat interface with 10 reserved inputs and 6 outputs – plug into MES or data collection systems without retrofit headaches.

Sensors at infeed (fixture presence) and outfeed (arrival detection) reduce misfeeds and empty runs.

Safe to Run. Easy to Open

The oven cover swings open sideways, powered by an electric actuator. Dual mechanical struts lock it in place – won't drop unexpectedly. 120K rock wool insulation keeps the exterior surface at ambient +15°C – no radiant heat blasting operators.

Modular construction means sections come apart individually – repair what's broken, not the whole oven.
